The Public Fitness Suite

Our public gym is one of the top venues for fitness in Galloway, with the highest quality professional equipment available at reasonable cost to all users. Our equipment includes treadmills, rowing machine, Weights Machine,Yoga mats, Dumb bells, Stationary bicycles, and barbell set.

The gym is located on the mezzanine, next to the Boxing Gym, and is fully accessible, with changing rooms and water fountain. It is light and airy, with a full-height glass screen letting in natural daylight, and benches to the side for rest and socialising. 



Entry is by payment of an annual or direct debit monthly membership fee, with concessions for under 18’s, over 65’s, students and people on a low income or income support. The membership will allow you to book two 1 hour sessions per week, and unlimited drop in sessions, provided the gym is open and there is space available. Booked spaces take priority over drop ins so we do advise booking especially at peak times, i.e. evenings and weekends. You will be required to fill out a questionnaire & membership contract before your membership begins and provide proof of your concession at your induction. Inductions are free and will take place before your first gym session.

*Youth rates are for 14-18 year olds, must be accompanied by an adult. Concessionary rates are for over 65’s, students and those in recipt of certain benefits.

Pay As You Go

If you are a visitor and do not have a membership, there is a “drop in session” price which is paid hourly. You can also join the gym on a pay as you go membership, we do still advise booking online where possible to ensure your place.

Our trained staff will provide a full induction to machines and gym equipment and will be on hand if you need advice or a refresher at any point. inductions are required for all membership types, as well as drop in sessions, if you join the gym under a pay as you go membership you will only have to do one initial induction. Bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance to be sure of a place.
